In this project, Tohoku University, Japan; Peking University, and Sichuan University, China; Seoul National University, and Yonsei University, Korea; Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; and the University of Indonesia, Indonesia will provide exchange opportunities for undergraduate students and postgraduate students to undertake research and education from the other institution based on CAMPUS Asia Plus (Japan-China-Korea and ASEAN University Student Exchange Program) Consortium. The purpose of this project is to develop the multimodal global leader and complete the establishment of the Asian Dental Leader's League to promote Asian-Model dentistry through the promotion of the education and research of interdisciplinary and international cooperation in Dentistry, especially in Interface Oral Health Science (IOHS) field. Finally, realize the development of sustainable global human resources.

At the duration of this project, we will promote the double degree (DD) program in PhD between Tohoku-Peking, Tohoku-Sichuan, Tohoku-Seoul, Tohoku-Yonsei, and Tohoku-Chulalongkorn; and establish the DD program between Tohoku-Indonesia and short-term exchange program and internships in dental companies and health care administration for the undergraduate student and postgraduate students from China, Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The outcome will be for participants to return to their home country to integrate the skills learned and to continue the collaboration in education and research between Japan-China-Korea and ASEAN countries and seven universities through the development of a joint education program. Finally, improve the level of dental science and clinical dentistry through the establishment of Asian-model Dentistry by multimodal global human resources developed from this project, extend the international joint education program to the whole Asian region, realize the life innovation.
