Continuing from Mode 2, the BESETO consortium comprising School of International Studies, Peking University (PKU), Graduate School of International Studies, Seoul National University (SNU) and Graduate School of Public Policy, The University of Tokyo (UTokyo) aims to further develop the unprecedented three-way double degree and exchange program that represents the highest level and quality of International Studies, Law and Public Policy in East Asia. Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS) will explore opportunities for collaboration in joint teaching, student exchanges, double degrees, and summer schools with institutions in the BESETO. The program aims that all the participating students will be exposed to study experience in four countries by either actual double degree, student exchange, online course taking or short programs. The new consortium of the BESETO + LKYSPP-NUS tries to develop an educational collaboration of the highest level and quality in Asia in the fields of international and public policy studies. Activities will include joint teaching in the CAMPUS Asia Joint Course and summer schools. Students will broaden their horizons by being exposed to the multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural study abroad experience, which will create vital networks for future Asian leaders, and gives them added values in labour markets.

This Program aims to nurture future global leaders with international experiences and knowledge of more than two languages, and to enhance interdisciplinary understanding of Asian issues among the participating countries.
