Ducks in the Weiming Lake

In the shallows or the grass,

is it food or a simple pastime

that they seek?

Pistachio and primrose

flecked by dark and light green,

sway lightly in the breeze.

In the drench of sun-showers,

the waterfalls of flowers purled.

The sweet perfume

whistles through the wind.

Feel the freshness in the air,

with grace and cheer abound.

A paradise filled with sunshine and flowers,

there is endless joy in summer to be found!
