Project Description
With the rapid progress of globalization, the number of interconnected global issues that need to be addressed beyond national borders is drastically increasing. Therefore, it is essential to build an international community that can share the vision of the future society beyond national borders and pursues the factors behind the problems to solve them in collaboration. The objective of this project is to nurture professionals in education policy management who can plan and formulate education policies from this new perspective and realize them in the context of each country and local region.
Graduate students participating in the project (Educational sciences, environmental sciences and innovative materials sciences) will participate in the activities in three stages: 1. Network independent learning of general education courses; 2. Interdisciplinary exchange study, cooperative research, experiment, field investigation and interview in the project cooperation universities; 3. Propose their own education policies at international seminars based on research results. Through these opportunities, participants will acquire the necessary competencies to promote interdisciplinary and international collaboration, as well as the ability to integrate academic disciplines to connect the findings of their specialized fields to educational policies addressing global issues.
